Turmeric, including plants that live in tropical areas. In terms of plant morphology, this plant belonged herb that grows to form the roots of rhizomes. The turmeric plant is necessary to do the selection of seeds / seedlings carefully. Choose the tuber / rhizome roots that were old enough to shoot at least 2 pieces. To ensure that the seed is free of pests / disease, it can be done first washing by adding an appropriate herbicide before planting. To obtain uniform seedlings, the nursery can be done in advance, so that later can be selected seedlings uniform height. Planting the seeds usually at a depth of about 7 cm, with a spacing of 50-65 cm to between bolt and about 30 cm between trees.
